URGENT NEED FOR BETTER PROTECTIVE GEAR FOR THE UKRAINIAN FRONTLINE SOLDIERS

They need helmets and bulletproof vests that provide higher protection than equipment
certified to the existing NATO standards, NIJ 3A and NIJ 4. This is because the enemy
now uses ammunition with armor-piercing tungsten cores that penetrate the existing gear.

Defence Ukraine Denmark has chosen the Danish supplier, Scandic Defence, which has
developed products that meet the new requirements. Thus, Defence Ukraine will be able
to contribute to the secure outfitting of the 250,000 Ukrainian frontline soldiers who are
no longer adequately protected to withstand the enemy.

It is more important than ever to ensure the upgrading of equipment for the Ukrainian
soldiers and increase the chance of saving their lives. The Ministry of Defence in Denmark
is responsible, as before, for the logistics and transport of our products.

“The Ukrainian Frontline soldiers desperately need Ballistic helmets and bulletproof vests, since the enemy now are using armor-penetration projectiles with Wolfram caps, which penetrates the current NATO standard armor.”

OLEG KOLESNICHENKO, Commercial director of LLC KARUSEL

“On behalf of all my comrades on the front line, I thank Defence Ukraine Denmark for the winter packages. It made a difference for over 20,000 soldiers. You gave us warmth in a cold time! The need for better protective equipment is urgent to save my comrades.”
